Don McGlashan, renowned New Zealand songwriter, is set to play in Queenstown as a part of his much anticipated, 17-date, tour of New Zealand.
The composer is set to play at the idyllic Sherwood Hotel on the 21st of October. Legendary percussionist Chris O’Connor from Phoenix Foundation will be accompanying the artist during this momentous performance.
With a focus on sharing stories of love, landscape and mystery, McGlashan’s songs have documented over three decades worth of snapshots of life in Aotearoa. McGlashan has cultivated a rare combination of wide appeal and respect from fellow artists, through consistent challenge and persistence. Performing a medley of recent songs and a selection of gems from his impressive back catalogue, the show is sure to be a good one and not something to miss out on.
